Brubacher Announces Strategic Acquisitions in Support of Client-Focused Growth

Agreement to Acquire Abel Construction & Abel Recon to be Finalized at the End of May

After thoughtful and strategic consideration, Brubacher has entered into an agreement to acquire Abel Construction and Abel Recon, two construction companies based in Mountville, PA, with a strong dedication to quality workmanship and earning the trust of repeat clients, which is well-aligned with Brubacher’s commitments and values. Abel Recon is an underground utility rehabilitation company serving a multi-state area with pipeline and structure lining services. The acquisition of the company aligns with Brubacher’s goal of expanding underground utility replacement and upgrade services. Following the transition, Abel Recon will continue to operate under its well-recognized brand from its current location near York, PA, as part of the Brubacher family of companies.

Throughout their 50-year legacy, Abel Construction has delivered excavating, grading, and site infrastructure solutions to clients across Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. Abel Construction will officially merge under the Brubacher brand following completion of the acquisition.
