Tony B. (Left)- Service Writer- 15 years
Congratulations to Tony for celebrating 15 years at Brubacher! Tony started out as a Parts Room Attendant and currently is our Service Writer. Tony oversees ordering all the parts we need for trucks and equipment and also manages the technicians’ schedules. He is the one everyone calls when their equipment is broke down and needs to be repaired. Thank you, Tony, for all you do and for keeping our Fleet up and running.

Craig is a pleasure to have on the Estimating Team. His field experience prior to working at Brubacher gives him a unique perspective which is valuable for an estimator. Craig does a good job engaging our clients and understanding his projects in a way that leads to building lasting relationships. Congrats on 10 years!

Shawn B. (right)- Project Manager/Estimator- 15 years
15 years ago, I was given an opportunity to grow in my abilities and learn from the construction industry’s best when joining the Brubacher team. For that I am filled with thankfulness, gratitude and appreciation. Congratulations to Shawn for celebrating 15 years at Brubacher! Shawn has held multiple positions here at Brubacher, including Pipe Layer, Pipe Foreman and now his current position of Project Manager/Estimator. Shawn is responsible for securing profitable work and managing projects for the Brubacher Utility Group. Shawn uses his hands on experience to build lasting relationships with our customers while also ensuring safe productive work for our team. Thank you for everything you do.

Tony B. (left) – Utilities Backhoe Operator- 35 years
Congratulations to Tony on achieving his 35-year anniversary at Brubacher! In the summer of 1988, Tony asked a co-worker what he was doing after work. His co-worker at the time (Kevin B.), said he was going to an interview at Brubacher Excavating. Tony asked if he could go along, which he did. They were both hired, and Tony came here as a laborer. On his first day, he was assigned to install silt fence on a new project, only to find out when he got there it was already installed. A lot has changed since then (Tony no longer has hair to the middle of his back, and I am bald!), however communication was as necessary then as it is today! We are grateful for Tony’s experience, commitment to quality work, and his varied skills. As a laborer, pipe layer, skid-loader, wheel loader & backhoe operator, Tony has worked on nearly every type of project at Brubacher. Thanks for your dedication, loyalty through the challenging times, and flexibility.

Kevin B. (Center)- Pipe Supervisor- 35 years
Congratulations to Kevin as he celebrates his 35-year anniversary at Brubacher on July 25. Kevin spent most of his career ‘below ground’ as a highly skilled Pipe Layer, working himself ‘up’ to a Pipe Supervisor role which he has held since the late 1990’s when we did Phase 1 of Foxfield. Kevin came to Brubacher after working at Reading Truck Bodies as a referral from Tim M. Kevin promptly referred his co-worker Tony Baker, whose 35-year anniversary is also July 25. We appreciate Kevin’s hard work, patience in teaching new team members the many tricks of the trade, and his wide-ranging experience. His even-keeled nature has helped him adapt to countless changes and advancements at Brubacher over those 35 years. Thanks Kevin…we look forward to many more great years ahead!

Jason S. (right)- Field Heavy Equipment Tech- 5 years
Jason started as a night shift truck technician. He made a smooth transition to field heavy equipment technician a few years ago and has been doing a great job since! He is a quick learner and enjoys learning new things and working on new projects/problems that test his knowledge and skills. Thank you, Jason, for your continued hard work that helps keep our fleet running productively.

Pete D. (right)- HR Generalist- 5 years
“Working at Brubacher for 5 years has been stretching and enjoyable. I came into the industry with no prior experience or knowledge, and I found a team of people willing to teach and support me throughout my career at Brubacher. This is a company that always thinks about the individual and trying to find the round peg in the round hole moment. I have found throughout my 5 years the support, the grace and the empowerment and I cannot wait to keep growing and supporting a company that cares for the one.”- Pete D.
Pete started his career with Brubacher in the Estimating Department as a Take-off Technician. Equipped with an eagerness to learn, as well as a global teaching background, Pete quickly learned the behind-the-scene details that go into a construction site and found daily fulfillment in working with and helping serve our employees. In 2022, Pete followed his passion and desire to help others and joined the Human Resources department as HR Generalist. Pete’s core values, pure enthusiasm for learning and teaching others, and skills including collaboration and teamwork are just a few of the qualities that Pete possesses that make us feel fortunate to have had Pete as a part of our Brubacher team over the past five years! Cheers to many more to come!

Matt L. (Right)- Pipe Supervisor- 5 Years
Matt has been with Brubacher for five years spending his first four years doing site work. He recently joined the Utilities Department and is now a Utilities Pipe Supervisor. Matt has the willingness to grow and succeed with the Utilities Department. We look forward to helping him grow as a supervisor.

Nicole S- Fleet Accountant- 10 years (Not Pictured)
Nicole is the Fleet Accountant for Brubacher. Nicole ensures that our equipment rates are accurate which allows us to competitively bid projects. She also compiles and provides information that allows for the timely replacement of equipment so that our jobs can run smoothly. She is a dedicated animal lover and recently added a new 2 year old pup to her pack. Thank you, Nicole for all you do. Here’s to another 10 years!

Manny has been with the Utilities Department for five years. He is reliable, honest and a hard-working individual. His current role is a Pipe Layer. He comes to work every day with a positive attitude and we are happy to have him on our team.
