Comprehensive Site Preparation Accomplished Through Creative Problem Solving

To deliver turnkey site preparation services for this large-scale hotel construction project, we provided Insight. On Site. and developed creative solutions to overcome site-specific challenges and constraints. Our team was hired by Pottersville LP to provide sitework services, including land clearing, utilities infrastructure, underground basins, asphalt paving and curb, guiderail, and fencing for onsite retaining walls.

Successful project delivery required careful, up-front planning to mitigate the impact of existing large rock deposits. Local township rules would not allow blasting, so breaking through and staying on schedule was made possible by maximizing the Brubacher fleet and scale to keep three machines on site hammering rocks for three months. Onsite retaining walls presented a different kind of challenge. Their large scale (topping out at over 30-feet), combined with their close proximity to the curb, meant developing creative solutions to backfill the walls safely, while minimizing impact to the schedule and budget. The size of these walls also required close collaboration with our trusted subcontractor partners, who were able to provide three crews to keep wall production on schedule.

By applying experience and expertise to ensure project success, our team was able to deliver quality work on time and on budget. Successful collaboration with the developer and our client continued through the subsequent phases of this multi-stage project.
