Keith Brubacher leads the company’s purpose, strategy, and culture.  He models and instills Brubacher’s core values – safety, integrity, initiative, and teamwork – amongst the leadership team and in all departments. He is dedicated to keeping the company’s mission Shaping the World We Live In at the forefront of all projects and organizational efforts by building relationships with clients and team members. Keith’s passion for the future of Brubacher is displayed daily, ensuring the company continues to serve clients as promised and serves others by creating a work environment that provides positive experiences, opportunities, connections, and outcomes.

As a member of the third generation of Brubachers in excavation, Keith has gained over 30 years of construction experience. Working within the company since a part-time job at the young age of 14, he held multiple positions, including Laborer, Equipment Operator, Safety Manager, Site Superintendent, and Vice President of Operations. His zeal for excellence fuels the daily energy to ensure Brubacher remains a place where team members can thrive and a business that positively impacts the areas and clients it serves.

In addition to his passion for Brubacher’s presence in the community, Keith also enjoys spending time with family and friends and living out his purpose to create places of refreshment where others can gather and experience the presence of God. He enjoys landscaping, woodworking, restoring and creating new life out of old things, and ‘diesel therapy’ provided by antique earthmoving machinery, preferably with a straight exhaust pipe!

As Chief Operating Officer, Melvin brings decades of construction operations experience to the team and embodies Brubacher’s core values to help positively shape Brubacher’s people, projects, and solutions. He provides leadership to all team members and departments and has a positive impact in bringing Brubacher’s mission and vision to life throughout the company. He confidently reaffirms that Brubacher has the talent to safely and successfully complete projects while reducing stress and managing risk for all clients. Additionally, Melvin dedicates much of his time to fostering long-term partnerships and teamwork.

His degree in Civil Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and MBA degree from Florida Institute of Technology, paired with an extensive background and hands-on experience in project management, engineering, estimating, and field operations, has contributed to his success as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In addition to his career goals, Melvin is passionate about his community. He gives back by serving on the board of local non-profit organizations. Melvin also enjoys traveling to Mexico and is in the process of teaching himself the Spanish language.

As Chief Financial Officer, Kris ensures financial resources are accurately recorded, maintained, always up-to-date, and readily available for Brubacher to deliver on company promises to both clients and employees. This ensures that all team members can continue to do what they do best – work safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. With integrity and transparency at the forefront, Kris works alongside the leadership team to help shape a promising future of continued financial growth and stability for the company, allowing Brubacher to continue serving our communities while providing opportunities for our people.

Kris’ career path has contributed to his success as CFO. Starting as an Equipment Operator at Brubacher in 2004, he looked up to mentors and colleagues within the company who helped him gain the skills needed to move into new roles, such as Site Superintendent, Project Manager, and Director of Fleet. Through the company’s tuition assistance program, Kris took the opportunity to obtain his master’s degree in project management at Penn State University. He also attended Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers and Bartell & Bartell Leadership Flight School. Kris has gained a thorough understanding of the assets needed to bring projects to life and to help successfully lead Brubacher’s Finance Department.

Outside of the office, Kris most enjoys spending time with his two children when they are home visiting from college. He also has a passion for restoring classic cars.

Serving as Director of Field Operations, Brad helps lead Brubacher’s projects and field employees and is responsible for managing and overseeing all field activities, including land surveying, clearing, paving, sitework, pipework, and more. He also assists the company in developing safety initiatives to ensure all team members are properly trained and fully committed to Brubacher’s safety best-practices. Interacting with all coworkers, Brad is a team player and dedicates much of his time to mentoring other field employees. His ability to lead by example and his excitement for other team members to excel help make him a great leader at Brubacher.

Growing up on a farm in a family of diesel mechanics and equipment operators, Brad was eager to start his career in the construction industry as a Dozer Operator at Brubacher in 2002. Provided with the tools to succeed and grow within the company, Brad quickly advanced to Site Superintendent, General Superintendent, and now, Director of Field Operations. Brad is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology and attended Bartell & Bartell Leadership Flight School, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers, FMI Construction Superintendent Training, Trenching and Excavating/Confined Space Training, and has his MSHA, OSHA, and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.

When not in the field, Brad can be found at home spending time with his wife and two daughters or enjoying outdoor activities, such as archery hunting and golfing. He also enjoys rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions and traveling with his family to explore new sights and experiences together.

As Director of Estimating and Project Management, Allan is dedicated to ensuring Brubacher’s projects align with the company’s promise to provide clients with the experience they deserve, while also ensuring projects are managed well and that their costs are budgeted accurately. By providing leadership and oversight to Estimators and Project Managers, Allan’s role is key to establishing consistency and clear communication between Brubacher’s clients and project teams.

Allan joined the Brubacher team in 2007, because the family-owned business offered him a positive culture with many opportunities to advance in his career. He has a BS degree from Penn State University and attended ABC/Purdue University Project Management Institute and Bartell & Bartell Leadership Flight School. His Brubacher career began as a Truck Driver, and his dedication and hard work led to growth, recognized through his promotions to Preconstruction Manager, Project Manager, Chief Estimator, and more. Working in all sectors of the company has provided Allan with a well-rounded view of the resources and mentorship needed to help shape successful projects from concept through completion and to help team members succeed in their efforts on Brubacher’s jobsites and reach their career goals.

Allan values quality time with his family and is passionate about his faith and dedication to his church. In his spare time, he also enjoys being outdoors camping, hunting, and an occasional round of golf.

As Safety Director, Andy leads Brubacher’s comprehensive safety and risk management initiatives, ensuring the health and well-being of all team members across the company. With a focus on supporting our established culture of safety excellence, Andy develops and implements programs that align with regulatory standards and Brubacher’s mission to prioritize life and personal purpose. His work includes overseeing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, managing risk assessment and prevention strategies, and leading the company’s safety training efforts to equip team members with the tools and knowledge needed to work safely and efficiently.

Before joining Brubacher in 2024, Andy served as Safety Director for a multi-state industrial company, where he led initiatives such as fleet safety programs, corporate safety audits, and the integration of digital safety resources. He also has extensive consulting experience, having advised clients in healthcare, manufacturing, and distribution on OSHA compliance, behavioral safety, and risk

management strategies. Andy’s hands-on approach and ability to connect with teams at all levels have made him a trusted partner in advancing safety cultures across industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Hygiene Management from Millersville University, as well as having held relevant industry certifications as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS). Through his leadership, Andy exemplifies Brubacher’s commitment to ensuring that every team member goes home safe at the end of each day.

Outside of work, Andy values spending time with his family, including his five children and two stepchildren. If he is not preparing a family meal in the kitchen or on the grill, you can find Andy partaking in outdoor activities, his favorites being archery hunting and fishing. Andy is an avid Philly sports fan and has enjoyed playing sports throughout his life. Today he remains active through physical fitness and working out.

As Equipment Manager at Brubacher, Andy leads the Fleet Department and oversees Brubacher’s $50 million fleet, ensuring that all equipment is safe and reliable. When new equipment needs purchased, he’s the one to make the call. He is also committed to working closely with Supervisors to understand their equipment needs and communicates with all departments to stay fully attentive to Brubacher’s vehicles and machinery.

While the role of Equipment Manager is often a fast-paced position, Andy excels and honors Brubacher’s core values on a daily basis. He is always prepared to pivot in the workplace, adjusting to schedule changes and quickly responding to unforeseen fleet repairs and maintenance needs. His dedication to our Fleet Department is key to ensuring our team can count on safe and efficient equipment to deliver quality work for clients.

Prior to joining the team in 2020, Andy worked for more than 20 years at a local farm equipment dealership. While there, he thrived in leadership positions and gained experience in guiding a team. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing Pickleball.

As Controller, Max oversees Brubacher’s financial management and accounting operations, providing the clarity, structure, and insight needed to support responsible decision-making. His work includes directing financial reporting, guiding budget processes, strengthening internal controls, and helping ensure teams have timely, accurate information that supports Brubacher’s high standards. With a collaborative, service-focused approach, Max partners closely with department leaders to anticipate needs, improve processes, and support the organization through periods of growth and change.

Max joined Brubacher in June 2025, bringing nearly two decades of financial leadership experience across corporate finance, operations, and consulting. Prior to joining the company, he spent several years providing outsourced CFO-level support to a broad portfolio of clients, helping business owners interpret financial results, improve processes, and strengthen long-term planning. His earlier experience also includes senior finance and accounting roles in multi-entity organizations, where he led teams, supported system transitions, and implemented budgeting, forecasting, and analysis practices to improve visibility and performance.

Max holds both a Master of Business Administration with a leadership concentration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a communications concentration from Lebanon Valley College. He brings a leadership style centered on listening, clarity, and helping individuals succeed, and he is committed to leading a Finance team known for accuracy, responsiveness, and steady excellence.

Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time with his family—especially attending his daughters’ sporting events—and staying active. A lifelong ice hockey player turned golfer, he appreciates any chance to be outdoors or share the game across generations. He also proudly volunteers with Junior Achievement, teaching financial literacy and workplace readiness skills to elementary students.

As IT Director, Tracy is responsible for ensuring Brubacher’s office personnel, field employees, and clients are connected through and have access to digital communications and technology and that their personal privacy is respected throughout all communications. With a background including extensive experience in technology infrastructure, she is committed to ensuring the company’s networks, phone systems, hardware, and software all operate properly, so effective teamwork can take place. In all facets of her work, Tracy takes the initiative to streamline processes and help make both the team and our clients’ lives easier and most efficient through technology.

For more than 20 years, Tracy has served as IT Director, taking on this role and evolving it to serve the growing needs of Brubacher, all team members, and clients. Her passion for technology, people, and a good challenge keeps her motivated to always be looking for opportunities to help improve internal and external relationships and overall experiences.

In addition to all things tech-related, Tracy enjoys spending time at the beach relaxing with her husband. She is also a proud grandma and takes every opportunity she can to enjoy quality time with her grandchildren.

As Director of Human Resources, Carolyn’s uncommonly refreshing approach to people helps shape an environment that is engaging and enjoyable for all team members. In her role, Carolyn ensures that employees feel valued and are engaged, retained, and provided with a culture that promotes the well-being of themselves and their families. Additionally, she works with the leadership and management teams to attract new talent to the company. Carolyn models Brubacher’s core values and ensures that every team member is treated with the respect and admiration he or she deserves; she thrives with the opportunity to be creative in ways that help bring the team together and recognize their efforts.

Carolyn brings more than 20 years of HR experience in recruitment and staffing, employee relations, training and development, and benefits administration for corporate manufacturers. She has a BS degree from State University of New York College at Oneonta and is a Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management.

Outside of the office, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her three dogs, attending her stepchildren’s theater performances, golfing with her husband, and attending Penn State football games with friends and family to cheer on their favorite team!
