Monaco earns Associate in Risk Management

Brubacher Director of Safety, Mike Monaco, earned his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) on July 23, 2016. ARM is a designation program offered by The Institutes Risk and Insurance Knowledge Group that consists of coursework and exams. The program focuses on risk management principles, risk assessment and treatment, risk financing and ethics. These courses combine to provide the knowledge base and technical skills that are vital to build and implement a balanced risk financing strategy using retention, transfer and hybrids.

Mike recognizes that enterprise-wide risk assessment, control and financing are increasingly critical in today’s market. Developing a sound strategy can play a large part in the success or failure of an organization. “Supporting the professional growth of our team, especially in the area of safety and risk management is important to minimizing risk for our co-workers,” noted President Keith Brubacher. “We extend our congratulations to Mike for his hard work in earning this achievement.”
