Receives Three Awards

Brubacher has been presented three awards by the Associated Builders & Contractors (Eastern PA Chapter).
The first was the prestigious award for site work excellence in the Heavy Construction category for The Pools at Bellewood Country Club. Brubacher was present at the Chapter's 23rd Merit Construction Awards on November 14 in Norristown. The awards program recognizes outstanding projects throughout eastern Pennsylvania built by ABC contractors.
Brubacher safety director receives the STEP award from ABC for its construction safety programs.
The other two awards are for Brubacher's safety education programs. Brubacher has received its first T.E.A.M. (Training, Education and Management) Bronze award. The evaluation process by ABC included looking at how Brubacher teaches employees the regulatory training requirements and its ongoing efforts to establish a quality employee development program. This was the first time Brubacher had applied for this recognition.
Brubacher was also recognized with a Silver S.T.E.P. (Safety, Training and Evaluation Program) Award by the ABC. Brubacher has participated in this program and received STEP awards since 1992. Jeff Lee, Safety Director, notes “Participation in this program involves a very in-depth evaluation of Brubacher safety programs.” He also pointed out that statistics indicate companies involved in the ABC safety program produce safer work environments for their employees than the industry as a whole.
