Employee Appreciation and Wellness Picnic
The Employee Appreciation and Wellness Picnic took place after two rainy hurricanes hit Central PA. The date of the picnic, September 10, had been set earlier in the year and couldn't be changed, so BEI organizers hurried to move the event from the flooded-out Woodcrest Retreat to BEI's shop area. The long-anticipated baseball game was replaced with many intense (yet fun) rounds of BINGO for the entire group, and indoor games were substituted for children's games. Although the weather did hinder a lot of activities, it did make for fun kite flying, supervised by Curtis Hicks. Raffle tickets were given, prizes won and families had a good time - all in all, a successful day. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and participated.
