Fares to Friends, How to Develop Outstanding Business Relationships by Ed Wallace.
According to Wallace, the adage "it's not what you know, but who you know" is flawed. He suggests that how you know who you know is an important element in business relationships. Through a hypothetical growing relationship between Ed and his taxi driver, Max, he presents concepts to developing relationships that will best serve everyone. One needs to not just begin relationships, but to work on maintaining them to develop "capital" in business. These concepts will work well not just in the workplace, but in all areas of life where dealing with people is important.
