Brubacher Excavating Inc. has been blessed with employees who demonstrate integrity, honesty, initiative and respectfulness. Our customers value these traits, coupled with a solutions-based approach to site construction by field management. This approach is strengthened by a history of adding specialized managers in key areas such as safety, human resources, training, fleet, purchasing and, most recently erosion and sedimentation control. Our growth has also been fueled by our commitment to perform all major aspects of site construction with our own crews.

As our company has grown in size and complexity, I have learned the importance of clarifying and then constantly communicating our standards to employees. This involves both telling and showing how we integrate our core values into daily activity, how we resolve disappointments, deal with success, learn from mistakes and evaluate performance.

I have found that discussing these areas individually and in groups builds accountability of company leadership and strengthens our culture.
